Chamber Celebrates WBZ-TV Pinnacle Wisdom Series

As the Chamber’s Pinnacle Awards Media Partner, WBZ-TV and anchor Lisa Hughes featured all nine 2025 Pinnacle honorees.

WBZ Pinnacle Wisdom Series Recognizes 2025 Honorees

  • WBUR CEO Margaret Low received the Lifetime Achievement Pinnacle Award

As CEO at WBUR, Margaret leads a team of journalists who provide news that listeners rely on nationwide. Even on her most challenging days, she says she loves the work. “There is something so deep and so satisfying and it feels so relevant to me,” she explains. “I love stories about people’s lives. I love what we make. I love listening and reading and seeing what we do.”

  • Pinnacle Awards honoree Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll shares words of wisdom

Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, who served four terms as Mayor of Salem, is one of nine women receiving a 2025 Pinnacle Award for excellence in leadership from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. “Leave people feeling good about what they’re doing,” Driscoll said. “And having a culture of continuously looking to improve.” That’s partly how Driscoll defines success. She says it’s also about leaving a place better than you found it and asking, how can we improve? “We’re not resting. We’re not settling on laurels. We’re looking to get better,” she explained.

  • Laura Wood honored with Pinnacle Award for leadership at Boston Children’s Hospital

Laura Wood has seen a lot in more than four decades in nursing. As Executive Vice President of Patient Care Operations and System Chief Nurse Executive at Boston Children’s Hospital, she works with staff, patients, and patient families who continually serve as a source of inspiration. Wood says, even when those families seem to be facing insurmountable obstacles, their strength motivates everyone around them. “They understand how precious life is and they’re so appreciative of the teams supporting them,” Wood said.

  • Amplify Latinx CEO Eneida Roman honored with Pinnacle Award for leadership

As the founder and CEO of Amplify LatinX, Eneida Roman is on a mission to advance opportunities, leadership representation, and prosperity, for members of Massachusetts’ Latino community. Eneida received the award for Achievement in Management-Non-Profit from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. Asked about her definition of success, she explains that the answer changes at different stages in life. Her definition now involves the concept of balance, hard as it is to achieve, and “having an impact in whatever I touch.”

  • Rachel Felix of Boston Medical Center Health System honored with Pinnacle Award

As Chief Marketing and Growth Officer at Boston Medical Center Health System, Rachel says that “My team knows we’re going to work really hard. But we’re also going to have fun, we’re going to laugh and celebrate our victories,” she said. Rachel finds success in living her purpose. Improving patient partners’ healthcare outcomes and helping to improve their economic mobility is especially satisfying. She also relishes the opportunity to educate people about the breadth of BMCHS’ offerings with its three hospitals, outpatient facilities, community hospitals, a health plan, and its specialty pharmacy service. BMCHS is also affiliated with Boston University.

  • Josiane Martinez of ASG honored with Pinnacle Award for Entrepreneurship

As Founder and CEO of Archipelago Strategies Group, Josiane Martinez is always looking for new ways to make an impact, through marketing, in diverse communities. “To use marketing to change lives, that continues to inspire me. To see that we’re serving thousands of people, helping them find health insurance or helping them get a job or create changes in their lives that are going to leave them in a better place. That’s what inspires me, gets me out of bed every day,” Josiane Martinez said.

  • Grace Cotter Regan honored with Pinnacle Award for leadership at Boston College High School

For most of Grace Cotter Regan’s career in education, she walked in with a plan, often based on the CEO’s vision, and executed it. Now, as the President of Boston College High School, it’s her vision that guides the mission. She lights up describing the students, young men who “thrive, fall and pick themselves up” as they follow the Jesuit teachings of living as “men for others.” Some of the best advice she’s received came from her father who advised her to “seize the crisis.” Smiling, Grace explains that she doesn’t shy away from crisis. In fact, she’s “good at it.”

  • Grace Lee of M&T Bank honored with Pinnacle Award for leadership

Whether it’s in her role as a mother, a colleague, or a leader, Grace Lee’s goal is to have the greatest reach and positive impact with the resources she has. As Massachusetts Regional President, Executive Vice President at M&T Bank, she points to her team as a source of inspiration and says she is motivated to seek opportunities for growth. “Especially as you gain more influence throughout your career,” she explains, “it becomes more urgent for you to actually continue to grow. Because it’s those lessons and opportunities that you’ll be able to cascade out.”

  • MBLA President Avana Epperson-Temple honored with Pinnacle Award for leadership

Avana Epperson-Temple says one of the best investments you can make is the investment in yourself. Prioritizing personal growth pays dividends far into the future. As a lawyer, President of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, and a fitness instructor, her time is valuable and in high demand. “What you focus on is what you become,” she explains. “Being intentional with your time, how you choose to spend your time and what you choose to focus on, I think, is really critical.”
